The ALI Bears Program has provided comfort and support since 1987. More than 12,000 bears have been distributed to area hospitals, hospices, and police departments to provide comfort to the thousands of children and adults who have experienced a traumatic and emotional situation.
The tradition of the Gala Bears stems from the ALI Bears program. ALI Bears are transformed into a Gala Bear and dressed according to the theme of the gala and are offered at three different donation levels during the live auction segment.
