More than $20,000 was raised to support the philanthropic programs of Assistance League of Indianapolis by the First Annual Hunt Construction Group, Inc. Charity Golf Outing held at Eagle Creek Golf Club on September 16th.
Following opening remarks by Mr. Fratianni, the golfers and event volunteers were welcomed by Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard. The Mayor took the opportunity to recognize Assistance League of Indianapolis and the positive impact of their philanthropic programs on the Indianapolis community. He also recognized the generosity of Hunt Construction Group for sponsoring the event to raise funds and awareness for Assistance League.
According to Jane Vawter, VP of Resource Development for Assistance League of Indianapolis, the funds that were raised will be used to support the four philanthropic programs of the organization, which helps more than 6,000 underserved children and adults each year. She noted,
“On behalf of the 230 all-volunteer members of Assistance League of Indianapolis, we are so grateful to Hunt Construction Group and to all of you as individuals and corporations who are participating in today’s event. You have no idea what this amount of money means to us.”
