







Assistance League® of Indianapolis (ALI) consistently returns over 86% of expenditures to the community each year through five philanthropic programs:
Operation School Bell® provides new clothing, books, school supplies, hygiene items to underserved preschool and elementary school children from five school districts in the Indianapolis area. View Video
Shoes: A Division of Operation School Bell provides new athletic shoes and socks to underserved elementary and middle school children from five school districts in the Indianapolis area. View Video
Assault Survivor Kits® assembles and distributes kits of new sweatpants, sweatshirts, socks and undergarments for victims of assault, rape and domestic violence. Kits and additional undergarments are delivered to area hospitals, shelters and treatment centers. View Video
ALI Bears bring comfort to people of all ages, helping them get through difficult and often lonely situations. Teddy bears are distributed to police, hospice agencies, and abuse counseling centers in the greater Indianapolis area. View Video
ALI Caps donates hand-decorated and hand-sewn hats and team logo caps to children at area hospitals and the Little Red Door Cancer Agency for its summer camp. The project recently added decorative scarves for women who are dealing with hair loss due to chemotherapy or radiation treatments. View Video
ALI Friends offers companionship and caring to enhance the lives of seniors and disabled adults. Assistance League members provide parties, crafts, and games to guests and patients at Joy’s House and at North Capitol Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. View Video
The volunteers of Assistance League do not directly select the clients who receive our services. Personnel from school districts, hospitals, senior residencies and agencies refer people who need our assistance.
