Assistance League® of Indianapolis Book Drive
- Assistance League of Indianapolis is committed to supporting literacy in our community and encouraging reading.
- We are known for giving clothing to students, which we have done since 1984. Recently during the month of February we have conducted Action Week, where we do something special for our community. In 2024 we will feature reading during Action Week, and we will go to an IPS school, do a puppet show about reading and give books to them for their library.
- You can HELP by conducting a book drive for us. Kids love to read, but many don’t have their own books, so they need access to them at school. We are collecting elementary age-appropriate books (Grades K-5) and donating them. We need new books - no board books please, or baby books. The books should have words in them!
- All book donations should be brought to the ALI office by January 31, 2024.
- You can also help by making a financial donation to purchase books at a discounted price. Make an ONLINE DONATION or send in a check payable to Assistance League of Indianapolis with Book Drive indicated on the memo line. Mail checks to: Assistance League of Indianapolis, 1475 W. 86th St., Ste. E, Indianapolis, IN 46260-2185
